Sorry for being late in my post. Today’s a slow day. There hasn’t been any news on new sites or anything worth telling so today I’ll just tell you of some cool extensions. Their simple, but their good.
The xdntweaker is only for Windows Vista, XP, and Windows Server 2003. It tweaks the simples things (like not writing “shortcut to” next to the file name when you shortcut files), but they make you feel better. Click Here to download it!
Dr. Web is an extension service that works with Windows, Mac, and Linux and uses Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera that actually scans files before they are downloaded to your computer. A definitely awesome tool to use for anyone who uses the web. How does it work? It downloads the file to it’s servers and then checks it and sends it back!
Click Here for the Firefox version, Click Here for the Internet Explorer version, and Click Here for the Opera version.
Firefox Campus Edition is and add-on that downloads Foxytunes, allowing to connect your music to the web and play music while you surf. Zotero, A note-taking add-on that allows you to take notes while doing research, and Stumbleupon, a website that connects you to different people and websites. These are very exciting tools to get you into your new year at school.
And Finally Fliqs Launched a toolbar that allows you to upload your videos and then pops up some code so you can easily put your video into your blog, profile, etc. No limited space and it’s harder to tell who violated a copyright. Click Here to download it.
Thank you for being good listeners and now I’ll retire to playing the Google Flight Simulator (I’ve got to get a joystick for that game.).
