In all of the blogs that posted the Google Flight Simulator (I was the 4th), I did not see people saying “How to turn or land a plane.” For people who have not seen my other post about this, to unlock the flight simulator from Google Earth, press Ctrl+Alt+(Capital) A. For Mac users, It is Command/Open+Apple Key+Option+(Capital) A. I’m going to say the words to the plane parts, not the keys, then you can consult this key controls list.
So you’re at the airport (Don’t worry about turning. It does it for you). First, increase the thrust. Then, when you have enough speed, press the down key to lift off. Retract the gear (those are your wheels) when your finally stable and you’re off! To turn, press the shift key and press the right key to turn right and the left key to turn left. Landings the hardest part. To land, extend the gear, increase the flap setting to %100, and reduce the thrust a little. If you reduce it all the way, the speed of your plane will slow down so much that you will fall. Then, go down slowly. You can go down any way. Just be sure to be on the number “0″ when you land. When your landing, Pull both breaks and reduce the thrust all the way. Keep on pressing the breaks until your plane has stopped.
Congratulations. You have just flown a plane!
