Mojiti is a Youtube-like website that allows you to annotate the videos on the site. Perfect if you actually uploaded a scene in a movie that you have to write an essay on. It’s also just fun to play with.
Customers often know a lot more about products that they are interested in and solve problems that customer support does not
care to solve. GetSatisfaction is a new website that talks about products and is powered by customers.

We’ve been needing this for a long time. Sclipo is a beta service that allows users to teach people things with videos. Not until recently have they decided to make Sclipo live. It allows you to teach someone one-on-one for money, or be taught live. Now you can have a tutor online. The teacher can set schedules to teach people and you and the teacher can write notes. There is also an option to write on a white board to others. The last awesome thing you can do is record the whole class and all the notes. Then, only you and the teacher can have a recorded clip of the session.
Criticker is also a new site that personalizes your movie reviews. The first thing you do when you go on the site is rate movies from 1 to 5 andthen it pairs you up with a few reviewers that somewhat have your personality. Cool, huh?

In other news, the new Digg-like Netscape will come out very soon! The name of it has not been created yet.

The first Google update is a bit simple. Google put search into Google Reader. You can now search the posts. Simple, but, oh, so helpful.
Another Googlicious update is the Google Book library. You can now make a library with the books Google has put into their database. After creating them, you post them anywhere online or put them your Google notebook. Why wait? Start searching and make your own library today!
The second to last update is not a Google made product. It’s called Groovle . It’s for people who want a customized home page, but don’t necessarily have the time to customize iGoogle.
Finally, the last update is about a website called Zoho Businesses. It’s a website that is challenging Google Apps. Admittedly, it seams to have more cool stuff on it. Like Google Apps, it has a free feature part. Unlike Google Apps, however, it offers a $40/year premium service; $10 less than Google Apps’ premium suite. I haven’t got in it yet because it’s private beta right now, but I signed up to get an invitation.

Facebook has just introduce people search to the public for anyone (even non-facebook users. Guess that ends the people search wave. No site has as many profiles as Facebook does.
Mogulus is a private beta site that gives you a live television channel sorta like ustream.tv but it seem better. Don’t know yet though because I haven’t gotten an invite yet. If you have one, please invite me at vidsky [at] gmail.com.
Veoh is an online episode channel that hosts users content as well as major television shows, including CBS. Yet another video website.

Google has recently patented a new service called Gpay. It is a form of paying for the cellphone user. Yes you can buy hings from your cell phone, but think of the possibilities of buying food from vender machines just by using your phone. Could this be the killer App that will separate the gPhone from the rest of the phones? Who knows, but Google’ definitely thinking of some ideas that will not only change the way cell phones can pay, but will change the way vender machines will look. For more info about this patent click here.

New features? I love new features. The first new feature on Google will be what most websites have nowadays. A wiki! Google has bought a small wiki service called jotspot.com. It is to be an addition of Google Apps. Google has previously announced that jotspot will be part of the Google App program and part of the suite of online office applications Google is developing.
The second feature requires a story from me. Today I was reading the NYT talking about how Microsoft was going right on against google with new tools at Windows Live coming out soon when I thought “Hey, Google has a word processor, spreadsheets and almost every application Microsoft has, on the web. Although I’m sure that Microsoft is not going to beat Google in the internet game, wouldn’t it get Microsoft really mad if Google created an online presentation application? I was going to contact Google, but then I found out that Google already announced that in April! Who knew? Why do all my ideas become other peoples ideas?

Remember that old Freewebs? The one where you could go and create a website just in a snap? Well look at Freewebs now. It’s candy to the eye and now it has just added some new features that will make you mind blow.
Okay, first, I would like to point out that I was once a Freewebser so I have a reason to be all ga-ga after what they have done.
#1. People can now join your website and become members.
#2. Freewebs has built a mailing list system for people’s website.
and now for the good parts…
#3. Reverbnation has agreed to give Freeweb users all access to their music so that they can create lists of music for their users to listen to and in very good players which Freewebsers can design.
Now for the best part…
#4. Gizmoz is a 3D animated talking avatar that allows you to greet you viewers with a flare of personality. You can choose a bunch of different people, from famous to scary or “both.” Or you can take a picture of yourself and then talk into a microphone and record your voice. This is me in a doctors uniform with a different voice.
Tell me if you can’t see it.
